Speakers of both Houses of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, Bariša Čolak and Šefik Džaferović, met with Marshals of Polish Senate and Sejm
Speakers of both Houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH), Bariša Čolak and Šefik Džaferović, met separately with the Senate Marshal, Stanislaw Karczewski, and the Sejm Marshal, Marek Kuchinski, during the Conference of Presidents of Parliaments of Central and Eastern European Countries in Warsaw.
Good bilateral relations without any open issues between the two countries were highlighted at the meetings, and it was concluded that there are many possibilities for enhancement of the parliamentary and the economic cooperation.
Special emphasis were given to the need for regional traffic networking, the construction of the Corridor Vc and the Adriatic-Ionian highway.
It was also assessed that the Summit of Presidents of Parliaments in Warsaw, and the exchange of experience on very important issues, provide an excellent opportunity for strengthening of the role of parliamentary diplomacy on political level, not only in the Central and Eastern European region but more widely.
Bilateral meetings were concluded with an invitation extended to the Polish Senate and Sejm Marshals to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina. (End)
