Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH at meetings of the Energy Community Parliamentary Plenum and the First South-East Europe Parliamentary Forum on Energy Efficiency and Climate Protection

Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH), consisting of a member of PABiH House of Representatives, Predrag Kožul, and a delegate to the PABiH House of Peoples, Ljilja Zovko, will participate in the meetings of the Energy Community Parliamentary Plenum and the First Southeast Europe Parliamentary Forum on Energy Efficiency and Climate Protection, which will be held 19-20 December 2017 in Vienna.

As announced, a meeting of the Energy Community Parliamentary Plenum will serve as a platform for discussions on finding the solution for common energy challenges and the construction of a fully functional pan-European energy market for the benefit of citizens, as well as the safety of energy supplies.

A Sustainable Use of Energy Project in South East Europe will be presented at the meeting of the First South East Europe Parliamentary Forum on Energy Efficiency and Climate Protection. Also, it is announced that they will discuss the goals, policies and technological development of energy security and the EU Road Map 2050.

It is also planned to discuss energy efficiency and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, as well as local sources of sustainable development, i.e., the national economic value added optimization.

The Parliamentary Forum is the first regional activity under the new phase of the project entitled "Public Dialogue on Sustainable Use of Energy in South East Europe" and represents a regional platform for exchange of experiences on energy efficiency and climate for the Southeast European countries. The Forum consists of parliamentarians and parliamentary staff from parliamentary committees dealing with energy, as well as energy experts and representatives of the Network of School of Political Studies in South East Europe.
