Meeting of Parliamentary Assembly Delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly

 
The 16th regular meeting of the Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PA BiH) to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly (NATO PA) was held today in Sarajevo. The meeting was attended by Dr. Milorad Živković, Speaker and members of the Delegation Asim Sarajlić and Božo Ljubić.

One of the topics discussed during this meeting was maintaining the upcoming 85th Rose Roth seminar, organized by the NATO PA in co-operation with the PA BiH. It is a gathering that will be held from 18 to 20 March 2014 in Sarajevo, in the presence of numerous delegation members and associate members of the NATO PA, experts in the field of defence and security, and representatives of legislative and executive authorities from Bosnia and Herzegovina, including both entities.

Given the numerous activities required in preparation of the 85th Rose Roth seminar in Sarajevo, the delegation members decided not to attend meetings, organized by the NATO PA in mid - February 2014 in Geneva and Vienna, however the members expressed gratitude to the hosts and organizers for the invitation.

During the meeting it was unanimously decided that from 01 January 2014 the chairmanship of the Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of NATO PS will be Božo Ljubić. (End)
