The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the PABiH, Denis Zvizdić Ph.D., received the Head of the OSCE Mission to BiH in his inaugural visit

"The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH), Denis Zvizdić Ph.D., received today the Head of the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ambassador Brian Aggeler, in his inaugural visit and introduced him to the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the process of establishing the government after the October elections. 

They also discussed the legislative priorities of the PABiH House of Representatives after obtaining candidate status, and the fulfillment of the remaining fourteen priorities for membership in the European Union (EU).

Speaker Zvizdić said that the adoption of several important laws on the EU path is planned in the coming period. He pointed out that BiH already adopted the Budget of BiH institutions and international obligations in the first quarter of this year.

They also discussed the necessity of strengthening the transparency of election procedures and the overall integrity of the election process with the aim of fully respecting the will of the voters.

Speaker Zvizdić emphasised that a special priority in this mandate will be the fight against corruption and that the adoption of the Strategy is also planned in the coming period. Speaker Zvizdić and Ambassador Aggeler agreed that corruption is a serious social problem that harms BiH and causes families to leave BiH.
