The speaker of the House of the Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Šefik Džaferović at 15th Conference of presidents of parliaments of the Adriatic and Ionian Initiative

The speaker of the House of the Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Šefik Džaferović will participate in the 15^th Conference of Presidents of Parliaments of the Adriatic and Ionian Initiative that will be held tomorrow, on 7^th April in Greek town of Ioannina.

“Blue growth in the Adriatic and Ionian Macroregion: needs and opportunities” and “The importance of the parliamentary dimension in the Adriatic and Ionian Initiative” are the main themes that will be discussed by representatives of parliament of eight countries members of the Adriatic and Ionian initiative.

To participants of the conference presidents and vice presidents of the parliaments of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Italy, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia, on behalf of the host will be addressed by the president of Hellenic parliament Nikolaos Voutsis.

It is foreseen that Conference ended by adopting of the joint statement of the presidents of parliaments of the Adriatic and Ionian Initiative.

Bosnia and Herzegovina is the member of this initiative since the establishment of this regional organization in May 2000. (end)
