Chair of the Delegation of the PSBiH to PSVE Saša Magazinović and member of the Delegation Sabina Ćudić held a meeting with a member of the Parliament of Great Britain

Ensure the military support of Great Britain for the preservation of peace and the protection of the constitutional order in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Chairman of the Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH) to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Saša Magazinović and member of the Delegation Sabina Ćudić, held a meeting with James MacCleary, a member of the Great Britain Parliament and liberal democratic spokesperson for Europe, in Strasbourg today.

The subject of the conversation was the additional involvement of Great Britain in ensuring peace, stability, and protection of the constitutional order in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The interlocutors agreed on the need for the engagement of British soldiers in Bosnia and Herzegovina. MacCleary informed the interlocutors that he supports this initiative, stressing his commitment to Bosnia and Herzegovina. He emphasized that this is a current topic in both the Parliament and the Government of Great Britain, which he will insist on in the coming days. In the conversation, the joint condemnation of Dodik's attack on the constitutional order and threat to peace was confirmed.

One of the topics of the conversation was the response of the Western allies to the latest events in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was stated that there is a great deal of agreement regarding the clear addressing of responsibilities, and in this sense, it is Milorad Dodik above all. However, it was concluded that it is already certain that in the coming period those who follow him politically or in other ways, protect and help him, either directly or indirectly, will be under scrutiny.

Ćudić and Magazinović expressed their gratitude for Great Britain's engagement in Bosnia and Herzegovina so far, stressing consistency in attitudes and dedication to values which, as they pointed out, they were not ready to give up at any time. (end)
