Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr Nikola Špirić, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Italy to BiH on a courtesy visit

The Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PA BiH), Dr Nikola Špirić, received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Italy to BiH, H.E. Sarah Eti Castellani, on a courtesy visit today.

Ambassador Castellani conveyed her satisfaction upon assuming her duties in Bosnia and Herzegovina and reaffirmed Italy’s commitment to deepening bilateral relations and providing ongoing support to BiH in its pursuit of full membership of the European Union. She emphasised the importance of sustaining dialogue and cooperation across all fields of mutual interest.

Dr Špirić welcomed Ambassador Castellani and wished her a successful mandate, expressing confidence that the friendly relations between the two countries will continue to develop and improve. Speaker Špirić thanked Italy for its support to Bosnia and Herzegovina to date, especially in the context of European integration, and highlighted the significance of further cooperation in political, economic, educational, and cultural fields.
