Parliamentary Military Commissioner of Bosnia and Herzegovina Boško Šiljegović Attends Graduation Ceremony at the Theresian Military Academy in Vienna
The Parliamentary Military Commissioner of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Boško Šiljegović, at the invitation of the Parliamentary Commission for the Austrian Federal Armed Forces, attended the formal ceremony of awarding diplomas and academic ranks to graduates of the Theresian Military Academy in Vienna.
The graduation ceremony represents the final stage of the four-year officer education program, within which five female and male cadets of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina also complete their training.
During his stay in Vienna, the Parliamentary Military Commissioner of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Boško Šiljegović, also held meetings with members of the Parliamentary Commission for the Austrian Federal Armed Forces, thereby continuing the long-standing good cooperation between the two institutions.
The Theresian Military Academy, the first military academy in the world, was founded on 14 December 1751 and was named after Empress Maria Theresa, who established it.
