Representative in the House of Peoples Marina Pendeš and representative in the House of Representatives of PA BiH Rejhana Dervišević participated in the Global Forum of Women Leaders in Reykjavík
Delegate in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PA BiH) Marina Pendeš and representative in the House of Representatives of the PA BiH Rejhana Dervišević participated in the prestigious Reykjavík Global Forum - Women Leaders 2025, which was held from November 9 to 11 in the capital of Iceland under the motto "Strength, together for change".
The forum, jointly organized by the Government and Parliament of Iceland, brought together current and former heads of state and government, ministers, representatives, and representatives of international institutions, business and academic sectors. The central goal of the Forum is to promote cooperation and dialogue on key issues of gender equality, democratic development, sustainability, security, law, health and culture.
By participating in this prestigious international gathering, representative Pendeš and representative Dervišević contributed to the promotion of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a country that supports dialogue on gender equality and the role of women in politics.
On the sidelines of the Forum, Pendeš and Dervišević met with the President of Iceland, Halla Tómasdóttir, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Mariana Betsa, and the Executive Director of Europol, Catherine de Bolle. (end)
