Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Dr. Denis Zvizdić, is visiting the City of Konya

"Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH), Dr. Denis Zvizdić, is visiting Konya, where he held separate meetings with the Governor of Konya, İbrahim Akın, and the President of the Board of Directors of the Konya Chamber of Commerce, Selçuk Öztürk. During the meetings, they discussed improving inter-institutional cooperation, strengthening economic ties, and opportunities for expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

The interlocutors highlighted the importance of continuous political dialogue and the exchange of experiences, particularly in the fields of economy, investment, and regional development, emphasizing the role of chambers of commerce as an important bridge between business communities.

Dr. Zvizdić is visiting Konya at the invitation of the Mayor of Konya. As part of the visit, he will attend the commemoration of the 752nd anniversary of the death of Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi, one of the most significant spiritual, philosophical, and cultural thinkers, whose legacy continues to carry a universal message of peace, tolerance, and mutual understanding.

The commemoration of this anniversary gathers numerous domestic and international officials and represents an important cultural and spiritual event, which further contributes to strengthening ties between nations and promoting dialogue among cultures.
