Speaker of the House of Representatives of the PA BiH, Marinko Čavara, participates in Copenhagen at the Interparliamentary Conference on the EU Common Foreign and Security Policy and Common Security and Defence Policy

The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PA BiH), Marinko Čavara, participated, at the invitation of the Speaker of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Denmark, Søren Gade Jensen, in the two-day Interparliamentary Conference on the European Union’s Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) and Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) held in Copenhagen.
The Conference, hosted by the Parliament of the Kingdom of Denmark, brought together representatives from the parliaments of European Union member states, the European Parliament, and partner countries.
The participants were addressed by the Speaker of the Danish Parliament, Søren Gade Jensen, the Chair of the European Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs, David McAllister, and the Chair of the Foreign Policy Committee of the Danish Parliament, Christian Friis Bach, who emphasised the importance of joint action by European countries in preserving security, democracy, and stability, particularly in the context of current global challenges.
Speaker Čavara took part in working sessions and discussions with senior officials from European institutions and national parliaments, underlining the need to strengthen international cooperation and the active role of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the development of a common European security policy. By participating in this significant Conference, Speaker Čavara contributed to representing Bosnia and Herzegovina in discussions on key European and international political issues.
