Member of Parliament in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PA BiH) Saša Magazinović received the ambassador of the State of Palestine in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Rezeq Namoor, on a farewell visit.

Magazinović thanked Ambassador Namoora for the successful diplomatic mission and pointed out that the Palestinian ambassador left a deep mark in our country like few other diplomats. He especially thanked the ambassador for the intensive joint work on the creation of the Resolution on the protection of civilians, humanitarian aid and media freedom of reporting in Palestine, which was adopted by the PA BiH House of Representatives without any votes against.

Ambassador Namoora thanked Bosnia and Herzegovina for its principled support for the efforts that lead to the preservation of peace and stability in the State of Palestine and the region. He emphasized the importance of the adoption of the Resolution on Civilian Protection, Humanitarian Aid and Freedom of Media Reporting in Palestine by the PA BiH House of Representatives in September of this year, and especially thanked Magazinović for his contribution to the adoption of the Resolution. Expressing his gratitude and appreciation to MP Magazinović, the ambassador called him a free, honourable and humane man, stressing that his belief that it is possible to bring together people of different views and political positions in condemning all the crimes that happen in Palestine and the way he did it deserve gratitude and respect. He added that people like deputy Magazinović, who deal with important issues for the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina and strive to bring together people of different political preferences and personal views, deserve support because that is the only way for citizens to feel progress.

Magazinović and Namoora wished each other happiness in their private and business lives and expressed the hope that the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Palestine, two traditionally friendly countries, will have the opportunity to develop their relations in peace.
