Members of delegation of the PA BiH to the NATO PA at the 96. Rose – Roth Seminar in Ljubljana

The head of the Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PA BiH) to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly (PA NATO) Nikola Lovrinović and member of the Delegation Asim Sarajlić will attend the 96. Rose-Roth Seminar of PANATO, which will be held from 7 to 9 November in Ljubljana.

The Rose-Roth seminar on the topic „Western Balkans: A different view of the past, current challenges and efforts for the future" will be attended by around 150 parliamentarians from member states and associate members of NATO PA, representatives of the highest legislative and executive authorities of the Republic of Slovenia, representatives of international organizations, non- government sector, as well as numerous experts from the Western Balkans region and beyond.

During the 96. Rose - Roth Seminar, co-organized by the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia and the PA NATO, the security and stability of the Western Balkans as well as the Euro - Atlantic perspective of this region will be discussed.

The organizers have also foreseen a discussion on "Populism, Nationalism and" Heavy News and Topics: Challenges and Strengthening Democracy in the Western Balkans". The views on the future development of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Serbia and Kosovo, with a special focus on the economies of these countries will be also discussed.

As announced, the participants will also talk about migrations and their social consequences in the Western Balkan countries.

According to the Program, on the first day of the seminar, the President of the Republic of Slovenia Borut Pahor, the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia Milan Brglez, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Slovenia Andreja Katič, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia Karl Erjavec, the Chairman of the PA NATO Paolo Alli and numerous officials experts from the field that will be the subject of the debate will address the participants of the Seminar.
