Speaker of the House of Peoples of the PABiH Dr. Nikola Špirić met with the Ambassador of Romania to Bosnia and Herzegovina

"Speaker of the House of Peoples of the PABiH, Dr. Nikola Špirić, met today in Sarajevo with the Ambassador of Romania to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Anton Pacuretu.

At the meeting, priorities in the upcoming mandate period were discussed, especially in the process of further approximation of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the European Union, as well as the possibilities of improving bilateral cooperation.

It was stated that the two countries have good and friendly relations, without open issues. It was assessed that it is possible to improve trade and other forms of economic cooperation.

Dr. Špirić informed Ambassador Pacuretu about the process of forming the government after the October elections. According to Dr. Špirić, after the constitution of working bodies, which is currently underway, the BiH Parliamentary Assembly will be able to function at full capacity. One of the defined priorities of the newly established government will be the acceleration of the process of integration into the European Union, Dr. Špirić emphasized.

Ambassador Pacuretu expressed Romania's full support in the process of accession of Bosnia and Herzegovina and other countries of the region to the European Union.
