The BiH PA Delegation at the Conference “Human Rights and External Policy”
Chairwoman Aleksandra Pandurevic, member of the BiH PA Joint Committee on Human Rights, Rights of Children, Youth, Immigration, Refugees, Asylum and Ethics, Nermina Kapetanovic, and member of the BiH PA Permanent Delegation in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Sasa Magazinovic, participated in a “Human Rights and External Policy” conference held on 13 and 14 December 2012 in Torino.
After opening remarks from the PACE Speaker, Jean-Claude Mignon, the Deputy of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni, and the Chairman of the Italian Delegation in the Council of Europe, Luigi Vitali, participants held a discussion on human rights and external policy.
Moreover, participants were addressed by the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Giulio Terzi, the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Parliamentary Senate of the Republic of Italy, Lamberto Dini, and the EU Special Representative for Human Rights, Stavros Lambrinidis, as guest speakers.
A meeting of PACE’s Board for Political Relations and Democracy also started today, and will continue tomorrow. (end)
