On the occasion of the severe weather and floods with tragic consequences, which hit Libya, the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH) Marinko Čavara sent a telegram of condolence to the President of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Libya, Aguila Salah Issi, the contents of which are transmitted in full:
“Honourable Mr. Speaker,
It is with great sadness that we have received news of the tragic consequences of the floods that have struck your country.
We are deeply saddened by the loss of so many precious lives and share the pain with the Libyan people.
I would like to take the opportunity, on behalf of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina and on my own behalf, to express my condolences and sincerest sympathies to the grieving families, and to wish a successful recovery to those injured in the natural disaster.
