Members of the Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH) to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly (NATO PA), Kemal Ademović and Obren Petrović, visited the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Stockholm

The Speaker of the House of Peoples and the Chairman of the Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH) to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly (NATO PA), Kemal Ademović, and delegation member Obren Petrović, who are participating in the 104th Rose Roth seminar in Stockholm, visited the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Kingdom of Sweden.

Discussions covered the activities of the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as possibilities for enhancing bilateral relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Kingdom of Sweden.

Ademović and Petrović were also informed about issues related to the suspension of air routes with Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as problems with the registration of newborns, which complicates the lives of BiH citizens officially estimated at around 80,000 in Sweden, and unofficially up to 200,000.

It was agreed to organize a meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, entity governments, and citizens living in Sweden to address issues related to citizenship, registration, and various other matters.

The success of citizens of Bosnian origin in all spheres of life and their excellent integration into Swedish society were particularly emphasized.

In addition to the Chargé d'Affaires at the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sabina Konjhodžić, and embassy staff, representatives of the Association of Entrepreneurs and Citizens in Sweden of BiH origin also attended the discussions. (End)
